The Raptor Leather Knife

This Raptor Leather Knife is the perfect tool for any leather project. The forged, high carbon steel blade is razor sharp and easily cuts through leather. The knife is also comfortable to hold and easy to use, making it the perfect tool for any leatherworker.

This is my personal favorite for a “do-it-all” leather knife. Skiving, cutting, and thinning leather. Perfect for large and small projects and a good all arounder. Comparable 45 degree angle to the traditional lap skiver.

Length is around 7″.

HRC is 61-63 and bevel is 14 degrees for slicey action.

Note: Just like high quality Japanese Knives, these are made out of High Quality High Carbon Steel, they sharpen beautifully but they will rust if not oiled properly or exposed to moisture. I highly recommend Tsubaki Japanese Knife Oil to maintain these beautiful knives.
